Valerie J. Long: The Zoe Lionheart Series (English E-Books)
Verfasst: 5. Februar 2013 09:26
Hallo zusammen,
hiermit möchte ich Euch mein bisheriges englischsprachiges Werk vorstellen.
Die E-Bücher sind in allen gängigen Formaten lieferbar und können wahlweise auch bei Amazon.de bezogen werden.
Zoe Lionheart (born Zoe Laforge) grew up as a quite ordinary, if talented, girl who didn’t expect anything special of her life. Her parents both died in a car accident when she was fourteen. She went on, finished school, finished M.I.T. and got a job. She was working as system administrator for a small print shop in Phoenix, AZ. In fact she was the girl Friday, the one who got blamed for everything. The happy side of her life was her friend Rick, and she was looking forward for her «Decisive Date» with him—he wasn’t clear about it, but did he plan a proposal?
That’s where the story and the trouble starts. A dull life at the side of a bike mechanic in Phoenix is not what fate has in mind for her. There’s more to Zoe than the eye can see—although the eye can see a lot.
Come join me on the rollercoaster ride that Zoe’s life became!

Life is hard and unfair—the most adaptable can survive anywhere, even a born loser. Who said a loser has to be fair?
A remote villa at the sea is an interesting challenge for a skilled thief in the first place. But if the landlord belongs to a worldwide-operating crime syndicate, it’s not advisable to get caught. Sadly, Jo learns about this too late—such just happens to a loser.
So she finds herself in a cell with a lot of time to contemplate her own life and how she arrived in her current situation. Will that give her a clue on how to escape?
